We are thrilled to announce that we will now be working in partnership with the fantastic Pro Performance Academy, Central Scotland’s leading football coaching academy for boys and girls.
Developing further the widely accepted links between physical and mental wellbeing, our partnership will aim to encourage people, specifically young people and their families, to be better informed about their wellbeing and how to seek further professional support when required.
Pro Performance Academy has become one of the most well thought of academies in Central Scotland for several of their programmes. The Academy has continued to grow, partnering with many local clubs helping develop local players as well as working with numerous professional football players.
For every player that steps into their academy, they have a self-obligation to better the person on and off the field.
FDAMH plans to work in partnership with them to ensure all of the young people in the Academy have a space place to talk openly about their mental health and to let them all know where we are if they need us.
Blair Munn, Founder & Head Coach at Pro Performance Academy said:
‘FDAMH are doing great things within the local community and we are delighted to be able to support this. We are also delighted to be offering our full academy staff training with FDAMH as part of the partnership. We can’t wait to develop this partnership together to improve the mental well-being of our local community’.
If you are interesting in working with FDAMH, please email our Partnerships Team at community@fdamh.org.uk. We would love to hear from you!

After a successful year of John Muir from the pilot in February, we end 2023 with some great news for both John Muir Group 1 and FDAMH!
Our new CBT for Menopause course gives you an opportunity to learn more about managing stress and anxiety, and how our negative thoughts can impact us physically, emotionally and behaviourally.
We feel so lucky to have such wonderful supporters at FDAMH and we’re excited to share some of their amazing stories!
