Our voluntary Trustees bring an invaluable set of skills and oversight to our charity to help make sure FDAMH is the best it can be!
If you are a dynamic and motivated person with some time to spare and you have an interest in mental wellbeing, you might want to consider joining our Board.
Volunteering is great for your wellbeing! Being a Trustee helps you to use your skills and insight to give back to your community whilst working alongside people with similar interests. Joining a charity board exposes you to all aspects of strategic organisational management, which could be of real benefit in your own career progression.
About being a Trustee
Board meetings are held every two months on Wednesday evenings, at the Victoria Centre in Falkirk (these will be held online when necessary) and these may be interspersed with a small number of additional meetings and workshops as required.
Trustees will receive induction to the organisation and further training if necessary.
Please note that there is a formal application process and references will be required.
SCVO provides information about the requirements of trustees and how to remain within the law.
Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator provides an extensive guide to trustee duties.
We feel so lucky to have such wonderful supporters at FDAMH and we’re excited to share some of their amazing stories!
