Courses for Menopause with FDAMH’s Training Academy.
Menopause is a natural process that can cause a range of physical and mental health changes in women.
Menopause can be a challenging time in a woman’s life. At FDAMH, we believe it’s important for women to have the right tools to manage the emotional and psychological impact that comes with menopause. To help navigate this transition, our Training Academy is proud to offer the following courses for Menopause:

This informative and supportive short course aims to help women deal with the unpleasant psychological effects that menopause can bring, such as anxiety and brain fog.
The course takes place in the comfortable rooms in FDAMH over 4 x 2hr sessions, with a follow up reconnector.
*NB: This course deals with addressing the psychological and emotional impact of menopause and we do not cover any clinical matters such as the use of HRT.

As this course is funded by CVS Falkirk’s Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing fund, it is open to all residents of Falkirk District completely free of charge.

Our CBT for Menopause course is available to access for all adults (aged 16 years and above). The aim of the course is to introduce the same tools employed by CBT practitioners, so that we can explore and challenge thinking styles associated with Menopause.
CBT is a well-established form of psychotherapy that has been shown to be effective in treating a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression. Our new course takes this approach and applies it specifically to the menopause experience. This course is run over two x 3hr sessions in FDAMH’s comfortable venue.
